About

I write gritty, angsty stories with forehead kisses & the occasional explosion

What’s my backstory?

Born and raised in Australia, I spent the hot summer days inside reading, saving money on SPF, and being an overachiever at school (if it required research and references, I was here for it). Now a nostalgic thirty-something, I’ve calmed down on the overachieving (lie) but I’m still super mindful about sunscreen application (truth—my skin doctor loves me). I'm a serial cookie-in-tea dunker and Spotify playlist curator and adore writing slow-burn, high-stakes fantasy romance you can giggle-kick over.

I graduated from the University of Queensland, majoring in Communications and—when I’m not travelling—reside in Brisbane, Australia with my partner, a stack of TBR books I promise I’ll read someday, and a growing array of indoor house plants. They’re still alive. I think.

What stories do I tell?

An addiction to angsty, female-led stories, young adult novels, video games like Tomb Raider, and shows like The Vampire Diaries nurtured the style of books I write today. My stories celebrate the agency and empowerment of women—and are also heavy on the romance. Come for the morally grey characters and banter. Stay for the feels.

Control My Night

Control My Night follows a cossetted young woman called Keanna—with a secret killer ability—who is abducted and used as a supernatural weapon in a criminal underworld. It mixes X-Men First Class, The Mortal Instruments, and The Godfather, and includes a modern-day reimagined Prague in all its glory, multiple (delicious) villains, bonkers side-characters, and a slow-burn forbidden romance.

Control My Night won the Australian Romance Readers Association 2024 “Favourite Debut Romance Author” award, has been nominated twice for the 2025 Indieverse awards, and was finalist in the Romance Writers of Australia’s 2024 “Emerald” Award.
